In addition, the community is one of the keys to success. “We have a great village community, lots of volunteer helpers who are there right away and get involved. Everyone sees themselves as part of the Lieg team and participates, ”explained the mayor. This includes, among other things, a shopping service called “Young for Old” organized by the youth of the village. Every resident of the village would participate. For example, the parents of the elementary school students collected money for room air filters.

A corona test center was also installed by the local fire brigade.

All villagers can be tested once a week.

The response was "consistently positive," said chief firefighter Daniel Platten to the newspaper.

“Nobody said I didn't notice, on the contrary.

People are happy to have such a test center on site, ”said Platten.
