These two people presented with a history of serious comorbidities and a very fragile state. One of them had an immune system disorder, likely to cause a lesser response to vaccination,

In Guyana, in the most affected cities, the curfew is in place from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. on weekdays and from 7 p.m. on Saturdays to 5 a.m. on Mondays.
Vaccination is now open from the age of 18 in a climate of mistrust which remains in the majority.
As of April 18, 2.5% of the Guyanese population had received two doses, or 7,314 people out of approximately 300,000 inhabitants, and 5.5% had received one dose.
