The commander of the Revolutionary Guards hinted that Tehran is stirring up security incidents taking place in Israeli territory.
Commander of the Revolutionary Guards, Hussein Salami
The commander of the Revolutionary Guards, General Hussein Salami, today launched a new series of threats against Israel, following the riots in Jerusalem and the firing of missiles at the Gaza Strip.
Salami made the remarks in an interview with the Lebanese television network Al-Mayadin, which is affiliated with the Hezbollah terrorist organization.
"The Islamic Republic will respond to any crime committed by the Zionists with great intensity, greater than the intensity of the crime," Salami told the Lebanese channel.
"The evil deeds that the Zionists are doing in the area will return to them and expose them to real danger in the future, and if they continue to commit such acts, they will come even closer to their collapse, especially since the conditions for the collapse of the Zionist entity have matured."
Salami hinted that Iran's hand was in the act.
This is another threat in a series of Iranian threats against Israel, stemming from a series of attacks on Iranian assets, in which Tehran blames Israel.
Yesterday, the Iranian chief of staff threatened Israel and said: "It is not clear what our response will be, but the Zionist regime can not afford to rest in peace." "The future of resistance is glowing."
