After three consecutive nights of rocket fire from the Gaza Strip towards Israel, residents of the Gaza Envelope are preparing for another night of warnings. The fear grows after the meeting of the political security cabinet at which the ministers decided to approve a powerful military response in the event of a resumption of firing from the Gaza Strip. In recent days, many residents in the south, including heads of local authorities, have expressed their displeasure with the conduct of the government and the military echelon, which they claim allows Hamas to set the agenda in the region.

Daniel Gabay, a resident of Sderot, slept again tonight at the police station with his children. "This night, too, we suspect, we hope that the children will not get up in a panic to the noise of the alarms and explosions," Gabay said. Attacks to deter the other side. "We hope that there will be a military response from Israel that will cause deterrence and calm, there is tension in the air and we do not know where it is going, we hope that someone upstairs will recover and the government will start initiating and not being dragged."

"Hope the kids don't get up."

Maayan Shneur, a resident of Netiv HaAsara, will also sleep with her family in the protected space of her home.

"There are winds of war blowing, there is tension and apprehension, uncertainty about what will happen," she said.

"The children will be in the emergency room all night.

We learn from experience and do not take risks.

"Despite attempts to understand the bride, after more than 40 rockets, we expect a strong response."

"Do not take risks."

Avi Hajabi, a resident of Sderot and a father of three, said that his house was preparing for a tense night.

"There are tensions and the children are tense for the coming night. We need to go for a full arrangement or a large-scale color operation, we want peace in Sderot and in the whole area," he said.

He said, "It is impossible to continue like this. We are not calm. We are hardly leaving the house but only for basic things in recent days, we must change this reality."

"Winds of war are blowing."

More than 40 rockets have been fired from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory in recent days, three of them last night.

At the same time, hundreds of Palestinians gather near the border fence every night and demonstrate while throwing stones and burning tires.

In the shadow of tensions, senior Israeli officials said today that the security cabinet had authorized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Bnei Gantz to order a sharp military response if the firing from Gaza continued.

According to senior Israeli officials, cabinet ministers have approved an operational plan for significant action against Hamas.

Senior Israeli officials added that the coordinator of government operations in the territories, Major General Rassan Aliyan and other security officials, informed the ministers that all indications coming from the UN envoy to Gaza, Thor Venice, Egypt and other Arab countries indicate that Hamas does not want escalation in Gaza.
