At 6:30 am today (27th), the police received a report from a staff member of a 24-hour gym in Tianping Shopping Mall, Sheung Shui, stating that a man collapsed in a coma at Shang Shui.
Ambulancemen arrived at the scene, and the 41-year-old man surnamed Wang was in a coma and was sent to the North District Hospital for treatment.
The police investigated the incident.
It is understood that Wang Nan fainted during weight training with a barbell in the fitness room. He was suspected of being pressed to his chest by the barbell. The staff member called the police when he found out.
