The traffic of two SNCF lines in the Paris suburbs, the RER E and line P, which serve the east of Ile-de-France, was disrupted Monday by a strike by train drivers, said the rail group.
According to the SNCF, the RER E traffic is "disrupted on the entire line", with only "one train in two" in circulation, due to this "local social movement".

On line P, only one in three trains should be planned.
Replacement buses run between Meaux and La Ferté-Milon, but the Esbly-Crécy section runs normally.

A "massive and short" strike
Denouncing in a press release "radical changes in management in all directions", the SUD-Rail union called on the drivers to strike "for one day", hoping that this "will be enough for management to become reasonable again".
A "massive and short" strike, they hope, so "that management becomes aware of the fed up with its employees without penalizing users who are collateral victims".

âIt has become very difficult, if not impossible, to engage in dialogue with our leaders.
The problems accumulate and find no solution.
The drivers can't take it anymore, âsays SUD-Rail.
In particular, the union asks for "compliance" with "local company agreements", "schedules provided for on work schedules", "sanitary protocol for disinfection of driving cabins and trains", as well as "regulations on part-time work â.
When contacted, the SNCF did not respond to our requests.
