Like a fortnight ago,

Santiago Cafiero, Carla Vizzotti

and the main cabinet ministers again heard the experts on Monday in the run-up to the measures that the Government plans to intensify towards the end of the week to try to contain the second wave of coronavirus, and that this time it will seek to reach a consensus with the Buenos Aires administration, after two weeks of accusations and crossed judicial rulings.

"

They asked for 72 hours to evaluate the data and there is a lot of concern so that no measure is relaxed

," said official sources after the meeting, lasting an hour and a half, which also included ministers Eduardo "Wado" from Pedro, Agustín Rossi and Sabina Frederic.

Unlike two weeks ago, the experts abounded, according to the sources, in a fact that began to worry in the last hours in parallel to the occupation of beds:

the possibility, not too distant, that oxygen begins to lack.

This time,

there were no "total closure" requests

, like the previous meeting. But for a simple reason: the experts consider, as they remarked at the meeting, that this card could be necessary to play it later, in the harshest months of winter. Nor was there unanimity, like two weeks ago, in keeping the schools open. An unconsulted suspension of Alberto Fernández two weeks ago that broke the link with Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, who still insists on holding the flag of presence to the end.

This weekend, however, the Buenos Aires government began to filter for the first time since the implementation of the latest measures the need to advance in greater restrictions.

This Monday, the City announced strengthening of the controls, coinciding with the request of the specialists.

"Fifteen days later they say they are going to control," they ironized last night at Casa Rosada.

It is that in the Government there is some discomfort due to the controls that the City carried out in these weeks.

Although the spirits between the national and Buenos Aires administrations appeared this Monday less heated than days ago.

Although there was no official confirmation, the possibility of a meeting between the three heads of Cabinet and Ministers of Health of the Nation, City and Province was being considered for the next few hours.

And they were working in a meeting between Fernández and Rodríguez Larreta, together with Axel Kicillof, to analyze possible restrictions.

The occupation of therapy beds, very close to saturation in the Metropolitan Area, is still the variable that worries the authorities the most.

The City, in fact, this Monday had an aggregate of 50 beds to the around 450 of the public system.

In that sense, in the last two weeks, Governor Kicillof and his collaborators had already called out loud for a much stricter confinement in the face of the exponential increase in infections.

Specialists and officials, however, were also concerned about the rest of the country. Mendoza, for example, asked again in the last hours for more respirators, they confirmed from Casa Rosada. And in Entre Ríos they began to refer patients to Rosario. The President plans to talk by region with the governors before announcing possible restrictions: the current DNU expires at midnight on Friday.
