A 14-year-old boy with autism and intellectual disability fell off the building at the private disabled home "Cambridge House" five years ago and died. The death court today (27th) held an inquiry on the cause of his death.

The boy's mother confessed that his son had been in the institution involved in the case for more than a year and had scars on his body from time to time.

The son once revealed that she was beaten with slippers by the girl in the home, and some fellow residents told her that the driver of the home had painted her son's face with feces.

The mother took her son home for the last time before the incident, and the other party said that she did not want to return to the institution.

However, his mother still sent him back to the hospital, but she received news of his son's death the next day.

The deceased Leung Tze Chun (aged 14) fell off the building on August 23, 2016 at the "Cambridge House" on Wo Tong Tsui Street, Kwai Chung.

The boy’s mother Jiang Yuemei today confessed that her son was diagnosed with autism when she was 6 years old.

As she could no longer take care of her growing up son, she arranged for him to live in a home.

The son has lived in many homes, and finally moved to the "Cambridge House" at the end of 2014.

The mother continued to point out that she picked her son back home every Friday and sent him to the dormitory until Monday.

However, she repeatedly found that her son's hands, feet, neck and face had redness and swelling injuries.

In June 2016, she found that her son's face was injured, so she took his son to the accident and emergency department for treatment.

The boy said he did not want to return to the institution before the incident

She learned from other inmates that the driver of the hospital had painted her son's face with feces.

The son also refused to ride in the car driven by the driver, and once stated that he was beaten with slippers by the girl from the institution.

The mother continued to point out that about two weeks before the incident, she took her son back home for the last time. At that time, the son was not injured, but the son often cried and said that he did not want to return to the institution.

However, the mother eventually took her son back to the institution one day before the incident and was informed of the death of her son on the night of the incident.

She said in court that her son had never revealed his intention to commit suicide.
