In Iran, settling of scores between Javad Zarif and the Revolutionary Guards

The President of the Islamic Republic, Hassan Rohani, ordered an investigation after the "

leak

" of an audio recording of his ally, the head of diplomacy, Javad Zarif, criticizing the role of the late General Qassem Soleimani in the foreign policy of the country, the government spokesman said on Tuesday.

This settling of scores risks polarizing the campaign for the presidential election on June 18 even more between the conservatives, hostile to a rapprochement with the West, and the moderates, who are in favor of it.

" Ali Rabii, the spokesperson, told reporters.

Mr. Rohani ordered the Ministry of Intelligence to identify "
