India announced today that it has mobilized security forces in the country, including regular and reserve military forces, in order to combat the country's rising corona plague.

Hindu-Tibetan border police forces have been deployed in the capital New Delhi and have opened special emergency centers for the care of patients.

The army has announced that more sites it owns in the capital will be converted to treat patients in the coming days, in order to provide thousands of necessary hospital beds.

The Indian chief of staff, Bipin Rawat, has announced a general recruitment of reservists among medics and doctors of the Indian Medical Corps and their referral to the country’s morbidity centers.





The city authorities have ordered the conversion of hotel rooms in the city into intensive care units, a decision that provoked outrage in the country after it became clear that a five-star hotel in the capital has been converted into a luxury treatment center for members of the judiciary and their families.

More than 300,000 people have been diagnosed with corona in the past day, a record for the tenth consecutive day.

Mortality is also at its peak and in the past day 2,716 deaths from the disease have been recorded in the country.

 The chairman of the World Health Organization, Theodros Adhanum Gavra-Yesos, today commented on the situation in India and said: "Many countries are still experiencing a peak in the spread of the plague and the situation in India is already much more heartbreaking." , Narendra Modi, that his country will send significant medical assistance to India that will include oxygen balloons and vaccines.
