The accident then occurred while descending the northwest route.
For a previously unexplained cause, the father fell down a steep slope about 80 meters, where he overturned several times and finally hit a tree, where he remained lying.
The son immediately dismounted to the fallen victim and made the emergency call.
Rescue workers from Bergwacht Oberaudorf and Brannenburg immediately set off for the site of the accident.
The ambulance who flew over in the rescue helicopter initially reanimated, but had to end it without success.
The victim died at the scene of the accident and was rescued by a police helicopter.

The investigations were carried out by police officers from the Alpine Task Force of the Rosenheim Presidium.
A 56-year-old fell on a steep rock in the Mangfall Mountains. He died of his injuries in hospital that same day.
