The epidemic situation in Hong Kong has been repeated. The Centre for Health Protection announced today (27th) that 8 new cases have been confirmed, bringing a total of 11,749 confirmed cases.
Among the new cases, 5 were imported cases, and 3 were related to local infections. All of them were epidemiologically related. There were no cases without source. The three male patients were friends of the 60-year-old male patient in 4 Blocks, New Treasure City, Hang Hau, Tseung Kwan O. Together with his two family members living with him, 6 people in this group were infected.
Three new male patients reported to live in Tsim Sha Tsui East, Tsuen Wan Ocean Love Block 7, and Whampoa Garden Yinzhuyuan Block 4. The three buildings were included in the mandatory testing by the government last night.
Regarding the local case, a 51-year-old man who was diagnosed with the disease reported that he became ill last Thursday (22nd) and was staying at the Royal Garden Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui.
A resident in Block 7 of Sea Love in Tsuen Wan was also diagnosed. A 39-year-old man became ill last Friday (23rd). In addition, a 42-year-old male resident in Block 4 of Yinzhu Garden in Whampoa Garden was also diagnosed. He had no prior symptoms. .
On April 27, 8 new confirmed cases were recorded in Hong Kong, of which 5 were imported cases.

All the 5 imported cases were asymptomatic.
Two of them came to Hong Kong from India, and the other three came from Japan, Indonesia and Turkey.
In the past two weeks (April 13 to 26), there were a total of 146 new cases in Hong Kong, of which 35 were local cases (including 1 possible local case), of which 17 were of unknown origin.
