President Bashar Al-Assad today sent a cable of condolence to the President of the Iraqi Republic, Barham Salih, in which he expressed his deepest condolences on the tragedy of the Ibn al-Khatib Hospital fire in Baghdad, in which dozens of citizens were killed.
In his telegram to the President of the Republic of Iraq, and through him, President al-Assad offered the Iraqi people his deepest condolences and sincere sympathy for this tragedy, asking God Almighty to give the victims the bread of His mercy, to inspire their families with patience and solace, and to protect Iraq and its people from all harm and harm.
Last Saturday, a fire broke out in Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital in the Iraqi capital Baghdad, killing 97 people and wounding 120.
