Because both the official Instagram account of the royal family and the accounts of Prince Charles and Camilla and also of Prince William and his family changed the profile picture from happy family pictures to a royal coat of arms - in honor of the deceased. In addition, the grieving family members posted touching statements and photos, with which they remembered Prince Philip.
Now that the royals' official two-week mourning period is over, social media shows that their lives must go on too.
Because the photos of the coat of arms were replaced again on all Instagram accounts.
For example, the official channel of the Royals is now adorned with a photo in which the Queen is shown alone and which was posted on the occasion of her 95th birthday.
