Günther Jauch now had a pastor from Bavaria visiting “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire”.

He gambled as much as he could - and was generous in the end.

The “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” episode was recorded in March, which RTL broadcast on Monday (April 26th).

As is well known, moderator Günther Jauch has only just been released from his corona quarantine * and has been considered healthy again for a few days.

So in March Günther Jauch had the pastor

Martin Fohl (57) from Pleiskirchen (Altötting district) sitting opposite as a quiz guest.

It held up well, making it up to 4,000 euros without a joker.

In between it was even musical, because the pastor had brought his hunting horn with him.

His father was a hunter, hence the choice of instrument.

After a short piece - "Sau tot", a well-known hunting horn work - the puzzle continued for Martin Fohl.

Günther Jauch * asked the other questions, which Pastor Fohl used up all of his jokers to answer.

When it came to the 32,000 euro question, things got tricky.

It was tough: "If he manages a combination every second, does a thief need a maximum of ... to open a combination lock with a four-digit code ...?"

The 32,000 euro question was tough for the pastor - Jauch advised arithmetic out loud

Jauch asked him to do the math out loud (he had always advised his children to do this), but the pastor from Bavaria was evidently embarrassed and stuck to his quietly thought-out answer: "Around half a day."

Fortunately, Jauch persuaded him to become the “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” * public joker.

The chosen one replied: “Answer B, 170 minutes.” Pastor Fohl followed this advice - and was so enthusiastic about the 32,000 euros.

"That could have gone wrong," warned Günther Jauch, visibly relieved.

Pastor Martin Fohl did not want to challenge luck - or in his case perhaps God's help - and then left gambling with the next question.

He preferred to take the 32,000 euros home with him.

Incidentally, he wants to donate part of it.

When it comes to “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?”, Moderator Günther Jauch is not easy to fool.

Now, however, the quiz master had to be informed about the "hardcore" hobby of his candidate *.
