The relief campaign “Peiting helps” is gradually becoming a success story: Once again, this non-political organization led by Susann Tabatabei-Schweizer and Gisela Eckert handed over the donations collected locally to Dominik Spring, the home manager of the AWO senior center in Peiting.

Peiting

- This time 160 vouchers for the local restaurants with a value of ten euros each came together.

"Peiting helps" had already collected 641 vouchers of ten euros each from citizens of Peiting, clubs, doctors and various local associations and thus supported people and groups particularly affected by the pandemic.

"We want to network and support people with different campaigns and ideas, both morally and financially," emphasized Susann Tabatabei-Schweizer when handing over the donation.

The main direction is a "break for nurses".

The aim is to support both the brave nursing and rescue workers and the ailing local restaurants.

In addition, “Peiting helps” is concerned about giving the nursing and rescue workers a short culinary “breather as a sign of appreciation”.

A very special concern is also to strengthen the sense of community and solidarity among the citizens of Peiting.

Specifically, the following donated for the AWO senior citizens' home: Dr.

Thomas Zybill, who works closely with all stations of the AWO home.

50 vouchers came from him.

Claudia Steindorf from the SPD local association in Peitinger, meanwhile, collected 900 euros with great commitment and initiative and was able to hand over 90 vouchers to Dominik Spring.

The two doctors Silke Kosian and Jelena Petrovic handed over another 20 vouchers.

In the Peitinger AWO senior center with currently 160 employees, 124 residents, 15 day care guests and 75 other "customers" are looked after by the outpatient care service.

Incidentally, "Peiting helps" is planning to support the family doctors "vaccination practice teams" as the next step, because they are extremely stressed in the current situation, emphasizes Susann Tabatabei-Schweizer.
