Irschenberg - In order to get a better grip on the problem with dog excrement in the municipality, Irschenberg wants to set up more so-called dog toilets.
In its most recent meeting, the municipal council made available a budget of 3,000 euros.
As reported, Mayor Klaus Meixner (CSU) addressed the problem with the legacies in the previous meeting - combined with the request to mistress and masters to take the duty of clearing away heaps seriously.
But it is clear to Meixner and also to the council members that this will not be enough.
Therefore, more dog toilets - i.e. bag dispensers and waste bins - are to be set up.
So far, 13 donors have been set up in the municipality.
Most of them are in Irschenberg, in the wider area around the view, in Wilparting, in Buchbichl and in the district of Niklasreuth.
Now ten are to be added: three are planned for Irschenberg and the Waldsiedlung and one each for Wendling, Gasteig, Schwamham, Niklausreuth, Radthal, Untermoos and Buchbichl.
Since the current price for a dog toilet, according to Meixner, is 200 euros (“That is within limits”), Second Mayor Marinus Eyrainer (Free Voters Voters Irschenberg) suggested taking some in reserve: “Let's order ten plus two for the garage. ”What Meixner supported: He suggested a budget of 3000 euros - what is not drawn up now should be kept for later.
Because there was agreement in the local council that the dog toilets are the only way to get the problem under control, as Klaus Waldschütz (CSU) also stated: "Then you can at least tell dog owners to use the toilets."
