The Food and Health Bureau said today (28th) that close contacts who were sent to quarantine in the incident have been allowed to leave the quarantine center successively after the virus test result of the "false positive" case was confirmed to be negative, without completing the 14-day quarantine period.

The incident involved 30 samples collected by a private laboratory on April 20. The samples were initially determined to be 29 positive and 1 "uncertain" case earlier. The relevant person was subsequently sent to quarantine and repeated by the Hospital Authority. Virus and antibody detection.
