Regarding the procedure, the Maltese explain that the test subjects wear an FFP2 mask for the test and must bring their identity card with them.
A smear is taken from the back of the nose and throat or the back of the throat.
15 to 30 minutes after the test, the result is sent by SMS and / or email and can then be called up on the website with the test code.

The establishment of the additional test point came about on the initiative of Mayor Rainer Streu.
"It was important to me that, due to the current requirements, a test option with short distances was available for the foresters," he explains.
According to a press release, the Maltese have been carrying out rapid antigen tests in various facilities in the district for several weeks.
"We now have a lot of experience with the processes," reports Malteser District Managing Director Sebastian Oberpriller.
However, it is not possible to precisely estimate local needs.
"If necessary, we can still adjust the test times in coordination with the municipality and the district office," adds Oberpriller.
The Maltese are also looking for interested specialists to strengthen the various test teams.
