- Eva-Maria Schmidt, FDP candidate in constituency 214, reached position 24 for the upcoming federal election in the digital state representative assembly of the FDP Bavaria at the weekend (we reported).
In the first attempt, in 12th place, she was defeated by nursing entrepreneur Kristine Lütke from Middle Franconia and, at 17th place on the list, only just missed the runoff by one of the 420 delegate votes.

Martin Koske elected as list candidate
Martin Koske from Wolnzach was elected as a list candidate from constituency 214, which includes the districts of Freising and Pfaffenhofen and the southern part of Neuburg-Schrobenhausen.
The 64-year-old, who reached number 71 in the block election, recently retired.
Now he is supporting the Red Cross in the corona test centers and would like to use his know-how to improve pandemic management.
