The High Court announced today (Wednesday) that the hearing that will take place at 15:30 in the petitions against the appointment of MK Ofir Akunis (Likud) to the position of Minister of Justice will be broadcast live.

According to a High Court ruling, the hearing will be broadcast "as part of the pilot project to broadcast live hearings in the Supreme Court."



Yesterday, the High Court issued an interim order against the decision made at the cabinet meeting to appoint Akunis, On the subject.

The High Court further ruled that Netanyahu and Akunis must submit an affidavit on the subject of the petitions by 11:00, while the other respondents ordered an affidavit to be submitted by 13:00.

Meanwhile, the Movement for the Quality of Government this morning submitted an urgent request to the High Court, according to which the powers of the Minister of Justice should be left in the hands of Blue and White Chairman Bnei Gantz, until her petition regarding the non-appointment of ministers is decided.

"Petitioner believes that an urgent solution - even if temporary - must be found that will be able to provide a solution to this serious problem," the request reads.

The hearing yesterday in the High Court
