A few hours before the High Court hearing and after the "screaming meeting", the prime minister agreed to the demand of a blue-and-white chairman • Is it now back to the option table of a new rotation government between Netanyahu and Gantz?
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed today (Wednesday) to appoint Bnei Gantz as Minister of Justice in the transitional government.
The approval of the appointment will be brought later today by Netanyahu for a government vote.

The decision was made a few hours before the High Court was due to hear the matter. However, the High Court hearing regarding the four other unnamed ministers (communications, science and technology, social equality and water resources and higher education) will take place today as usual.
Netanyahu has submitted a detailed response to the Supreme Court that completely rejects the argument that the discussion that took place yesterday in the government was against the law.
However, after the Prime Minister's compromise proposals were also rejected this morning, and in order to get out of the deadlock and allow the necessary activities of the Ministry of Justice, he agreed to appoint the Minister of Defense as Minister of Justice in the transitional government as well.
As you may recall, in recent days the possibility has arisen that Gantz will serve as the first prime minister in a cabinet with Netanyahu, in light of Netanyahu's difficulty in forming a coalition.
In light of yesterday’s clashes, this option seemed to be off the table.
The Movement for Quality of Government, which petitioned the High Court yesterday together with the Movement for Purity, stated: Ganz to the Minister of Justice. It is a pity that Netanyahu is acting correctly only when he clings to the wall and realizes that he has no choice but to fold. This is how a circus is run, not a government. We will continue to demand in the High Court the appointments of the four missing ministers immediately in light of the severe governmental space that has been created. "
