The health authorities in Russia announced a significant decrease in the number of new infections with the emerging corona virus.
In its daily report, the Special Operations Room for combating the Covid-19 epidemic stated that 7,848 people had been infected with the virus during the last twenty-four hours in 85 regions, including 1,840 cases in the capital, Moscow, indicating that 387 deaths occurred during the last night, while 8,420 people recovered from the infection.
The room indicated that the total number of deaths due to infection with the new Corona virus in Russia reached 109,367, while 4411098 people were cured of infection out of 4787273 infected people.
