At around 8 am today (28th), the MTR stated that due to a signal failure on the Island Line to Chai Wan Station, the train speed should be reduced when passing by, and passengers are urged to allow sufficient time for the journey.
At present, Kennedy Town Station and Heng Fa Village Station will run every 4 minutes; Heng Fa Village and Chai Wan Station will run every 12 minutes.
The overall travel time of the Hong Kong Island Line is expected to be 5 to 10 minutes longer than usual.
