The heads of the Iranian, Russian and Chinese delegations to the meeting of the Joint Committee of the Nuclear Agreement in Vienna called for the abolition of the entire US embargo imposed on Iran as a prerequisite for Washington's return to this agreement.

This came during the tripartite meeting, which was held on the eve of the resumption of the meeting of the Joint Committee on the Nuclear Agreement today, with the participation of the heads of delegations of the three countries and hosting the permanent Iranian mission in Vienna.

The Iranian news agency "IRNA" stated that the representatives of Iran, Russia and China reviewed during their meeting today the latest developments in negotiations related to America's expected return to the nuclear agreement and lifting the embargo on Iran, calling for the complete abolition of the US unilateral embargo and one time as a prerequisite for the latter's return to this agreement.

The tripartite meeting also noted the unanimity of the Iranian, Chinese and Russian delegations and the need for continued, serious and regular consultations and coordination between the three countries regarding these negotiations.

It is noteworthy that the Vienna talks are taking place within the framework of the nuclear agreement and in the presence of representatives of Iran and the "four plus one" group only, and there are no direct or indirect negotiations on the agenda of the Iranian delegation with the United States.
