The Citizen Service Center in New Homs (Al-Waer) began providing its services to citizens after it was activated and equipped with all work requirements.
Engineer Rasmi Al-Sebaei, Director of Informatics at the Homs City Council, said in a statement to SANA's correspondence that the work began experimentally, as the center’s workers began issuing documents, data and collection bills, pointing out that the center provides several services including criminal record documents, civil affairs, non-working, water collection, electricity and phone collection and attestation of mayors ’seals Residency documents and certified copies of an archived lease contract, a previous building permit, or an organizational chart of a previous license and a statement explaining violations, in addition to the office for documenting lease contracts for the divisions within the organizational boundaries of the city of Homs.
Al-Sebaei added that the network has been equipped with all the institutions associated with the center, and the Programming Department will support the computers with all the programs that support the services provided and update them when necessary, indicating that the center will be of great importance to the people of the neighborhood whose population is close to 80 thousand people in terms of saving effort, time and material cost to the citizen. .
