Since the age of 5 Jacob has been dreaming of becoming a pilot • Last year he lost his mother • Now his father took him to the first lesson: "I wanted to do loops in the air but Dad refused"

Jacob Newson is only 7, but recently he fulfilled the dream of his life, on which he has been working for two years, and began to study aviation.

His ultimate goal, he says, is to enlist in the Royal Air Force of Britain.

Already at the age of five, Newson expressed a strong desire to meet with the stunt team of the British Air Force "Red Arrows", and this came true.

He then met the pilots in full military uniform and saluted him.

Last year, little Jacob experienced a huge tragedy, when his mother died of cancer on Christmas Eve.

So his father, Andrew, decided to make his dream come true.

Last week Jacob was taken for a first lesson in flight, on a Cherokee Piper PA-28, and for 15 seconds the boy controlled the rudders himself at an altitude of nearly a mile above the ground.

I think I need a call sign.

"The truth is that my dream was also that my wife Andrea would participate in this flight, but unfortunately it did not materialize. But the flight itself was very exciting," the father said when the two landed.

Jacob himself said that "I was not excited at all, the truth is I wanted to do loops in the air when I flew the plane myself but Dad was not willing for me to do it."

The excited father said that he was not only very happy about the first pilot lesson but already wanted to continue straight to the second lesson.

"Once we finished drinking something Jacob already wanted to get back on the air. I was debating whether to let him learn to fly, but I'm happy in retrospect. He's so radiantly happy that it's all worth it," Andrew concluded.

When the boss @Disco_BBMF says 'No, you can not sit in the oldest flying Spitfire in the world until you've got your RAF Letter'.

Young Jacob testifies that he admires World War II British Air Force pilot Alan Christopher Deere, a New Zealander who fought in the Royal Air Force during the Battle of Britain and became a squadron commander and one of the most famous pilots in the history of the United Kingdom.

It seems that at this rate he may even overtake his object of admiration if he just continues to do so.

"I think it was the most exciting thing that ever happened to him," Andrew said.
