About 90 thousand families benefited from the allocations of sugar, rice and tea through the electronic card in Sweden for the months of February, March and April, through text messages.
Asef Haidar, director of the Syrian Trade Corporation branch in Sweida, revealed in a statement to the SANA Economic Bulletin that the quantities sold to these families amounted to 886 tons of sugar, 750 tons of rice and 178 tons of tea, indicating that the percentage of families benefiting from the allocations for the months of February, March and April reached more than 70 percent of the total number of cards. That have been activated to get the benefits.
Haidar explained that, over the past few days, the branch rented about 300 tons of sugar and 200 tons of rice to complete the sale of these materials to citizens via the electronic card.
The Syrian Trade Corporation announced that it will continue to sell citizens' allocations from the subsidized materials under the electronic card for the months of February, March and April until the 15th of next May to ensure that all citizens receive them.
