Today, the Brazilian Ministry of Health said that it recorded 3,163 new deaths from Covid-19, bringing the total deaths in the country to 398,185 deaths.
According to the ministry's data, Brazil recorded 79,726 new cases of the virus, bringing the total number of infections so far to 14,521,289.
Brazil comes second in the number of deaths from the virus in the world after the United States and third in the number of infections after the United States and India.
