The new Corona rapid test station in the Neidhart shopping park in the north of Weilheim, which went into operation recently, is well received, according to Fritz Neidhart.
So that a faster process is possible, he had two employees from the administration of the hardware store trained to work in the test station.
Weilheim - The operator of the station, the district association Weilheim-Schongau of the BRK, provides two more employees according to its managing director Hans Eberl. On the first day, 87 people could be tested within three hours. According to Neidhart, the station is open from Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., but not on public holidays such as May 1st. It is accessible to all citizens of Weilheim and the surrounding area, there is also enough free parking space in the shopping park. Registration is not necessary, a certificate of the result of the test, which is free for citizens, is obtained after 15 minutes.
With the test station on his premises, which was installed at the suggestion of site promoter Sefan Frenzl, Neidhart not only wants to help the citizens, but also the many retailers and providers of body-friendly services throughout Weilheim, who are only allowed to let customers into their shops with a negative test result .
According to Mayor Markus Loth, the test station is already the ninth of its kind in Weilheim.
According to Christian Lärm, who is responsible for the organization, a further expansion of the test capacity is planned at the BRK district association, but is currently not possible for personnel reasons.
