In his order, the summary judge of the Council of State ruled in their favor, considering that

As a result, he ordered the suspension of the execution of this decree of January 25, co-signed by the Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, and his colleague from higher education, Frédérique Vidal.
"A new decree will be published as soon as possible,"

Frédérique Vidal had indicated at the end of March that the faculties of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and midwifery would welcome nearly 2,000 additional second-year students at the start of the 2021-2022 school year. According to the decree of January 25, nearly 6,500 places were to be reserved for the last repeaters of the former Paces (first year common to health studies), deleted this year, like the dreaded single competition and the ruthless "numerus clausus ". The remaining places were to be divided between the new PASS (“specific course” with a focus on health) and LAS (license with “access to health” option).
