Burglary occurred in Mong Kok.
At about 5 in the morning, the police received a report from the person in charge of a restaurant on the ground floor at No. 84 Shantung Street, Mong Kok, stating that the shop’s anti-theft sounded and suspected of burglary.
Upon receiving the report, the police arrived at the scene to understand the situation. They initially discovered that the glass door of a cafe named "PAUSE IT" on the site was blown up. The person in charge of the restaurant then returned to the scene and found one after preliminary enumeration. The cash register was missing, but it was revealed that the inside of the cash register was empty and there was no cash.
The police checked the closed-circuit television and believed that a culprit broke the glass and entered the store and took the cash register away.
In addition, the police also found signs of cracking on the glass of a nearby bar, but it is believed that the culprit did not enter the bar to commit the crime.
It is understood that the coffee shop involved suffered a burglary loss of tens of thousands of yuan more than a year ago. Therefore, after learning the lesson, the person in charge did not leave the cash in the shop after closing.
