"My experience was that a group of individuals were trying to kill me to achieve their objective," says Michael Fanone, a Washington police officer who experienced firsthand the insurrection and attack on the Capitol.
Fanone says that it has been very difficult to see elected officials and others cover up this attack or minimize the facts, but that the reality is that, that brutality, he had not suffered in his 20-year career.
