Two London police officers have been charged with serious misconduct in the performance of their duties for having photographed themselves at the scene of a double murder and having shared the pictures, the British prosecution announced on Wednesday.

These police officers, Deniz Jaffer, 47, and Jamie Lewis, 32, will appear on May 27 in Westminster court, the prosecution said in a statement. "

An 18-year-old Danyal Hussein has been charged with murder in connection with the case and is due to stand trial in June.
This is not the first time that London police have come under fire from criticism.
