Today, a British watchdog revealed 41 new cases of rare blood clots after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine against the Coronavirus.
Reuters quoted the Medicines and Health Care Products Control Authority in a weekly report on the side effects of Corona vaccines, saying that "the total cases of strokes with a decrease in the number of blood platelets after vaccination with AstraZeneca this week reached 209 cases, compared to 168 cases that were monitored last week."
The AstraZeneca vaccine is under scrutiny regarding the extremely rare issue of thrombosis, in light of the high number of cases observed among young people.
It is noteworthy that some countries, including Britain, recommended not to give the vaccine for some ages.
