The mayor of Quillan, in Aude, announced the opening of vaccination, from Thursday, to all residents of this town of 3,000 inhabitants, while the government refuses to expand access to vaccination despite increasingly pressing demands.

The Regional Health Agency (ARS Occitanie) had not reacted in the middle of the afternoon. The day before, the LR mayor of Cannes, David Lisnard, announced the opening of vaccination to all residents aged 40 and over. Officially, vaccination is currently open to people over 55, the most vulnerable 50-54 years and certain professions or vulnerable people.
