Sources in Israel estimate that talks with Lebanon around the maritime border will be resumed soon.
This is what Israel Today learned, after the publication this morning (Thursday) in Al-Ahbar, the Lebanese newspaper affiliated with Hezbollah, that the parties may return to the negotiating table on May 3, ie next week.
The Office of the Minister of Energy, Yuval Steinitz, who is conducting the talks on behalf of Israel, stated: "We are examining the resumption of talks on the basis of the known area in dispute."

The newspaper claims, according to senior Lebanese government officials, that a message has been received from Israel that it is willing to discuss the conditions set by the Lebanese for marking the border.
According to the source, the American ambassador to Lebanon, Dorothy Shea, passed the date of the beginning of the talks to the commander of the Lebanese army, General Jozen Aoun.
The Lebanese newspaper estimated that the president, who has already been updated by the army commander in detail, will hold a brief meeting with the Lebanese delegation before talks begin next week.
