Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced on Monday that Russia will not condone the stances of the Czech Republic, Bulgaria and the Baltic countries towards it.
Peskov said in a statement to Russian TV Channel 1: We will not be patient, and we have shown clearly that we do not condone what the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, the Baltic countries and others commit within the framework of the notorious solidarity against us.
Peskov added, "Things will go according to what President Vladimir Putin has drawn up, but the main thing lies in Russia's desire to establish good relations with everyone," noting that Washington, Brussels and other European capitals do not "stubbornly" listen to this basic orientation of President Putin.
The spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, recently called on the Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Ukraine to provide explanations regarding the storage of anti-personnel mines in the city of Vrpetice in the Czech Republic.
