As expected, Alexander Radwan is running for the Bundestag again for the CSU.
The delegates gave him a solid majority on Thursday evening.
Gmund
- In the end it was just a matter of form.
Alexander Radwan (56) was the only applicant.
The Miesbach and Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district associations of the CSU had already spoken out in favor of bringing the lawyer from Rottach-Egern back on the road.
Since 2013, the Miesbacher CSU district chairman has represented the 223 Bundestag constituency as a direct representative in Berlin.
Most recently, he had been critical of the mask business of individual Bundestag colleagues.
To nominate Radwans, the delegates from the CSU local associations in the two districts came to Gmund on Thursday evening.
In the courtyard of Gut Kaltenbrunn there was enough space to vote in accordance with the corona.
The result was clear: Radwan received 96.5 percent.
