Teacher Zhang Jieling, Director of the Visual Arts Department: "In addition to painting skills and aesthetics, our judging criteria also include whether the creativity of the contestants matches the theme of "healthy living".

This year's entries are not only excellent in painting skills, the paintings are more lively and full of creativity, and many of them use different pigments and materials to decorate the paintings, with text or patterns embellished, to give full play to the theme of "healthy living" in the paintings.

The prize presentation ceremonies of previous parent-child coloring and creation competitions were held in the auxiliary elementary school. In addition to the prize presentation ceremony, there was also a game booth on the same day, and residents of Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wai were invited to participate.

However, due to the impact of the novel coronavirus epidemic this year, Fu Xiao firmly hopes to still give kindergarten parents and children a reward. Therefore, this year’s award ceremony was specially changed to broadcast on the Internet. Director Huang Hengzhi, the coordinator of the award ceremony: "Although I could not invite this year The winners and their parents came to the school to participate in the ceremony, but we did not want to disappoint them, so we changed it to a form of sharing the works and joy of the winners with the public."

In addition to the work of the winners in the ceremony film, President Zhang also shared the new development of the auxiliary elementary school, including the English learning area: virtual reality classroom, The Cafe, "write anywhere, learn anywhere" English, Mo Ye Ruiheng's new library, tree House, "Shujuan Zhonghua Fuxiu Xiaoyichang", etc.

It has been more than a year since the epidemic has affected the learning of children all over the world, and they have been stuck at home for a long time. The friction between children and their parents will inevitably increase. Therefore, we think this drawing competition is of great significance. It can provide a platform for Children’s expression of emotions can also promote parent-child relationship, and it can also encourage the teacher team of the secondary elementary school to cheer up the children and parents!
