Twenty-one people were injured in a terrorist explosion with an explosive device near a school in Farah province, in western Afghanistan today.
(AB) quoted Abdul-Jabbar Shaheq, head of the health department in the region, as saying that "the explosive device exploded near a school, wounding 21 people, at least ten of whom were students between the ages of 7 and 13 years old," noting that three of the injured were in critical condition.
This bombing comes three days after a suicide bomber targeted an ammunition depot in the eastern Afghan province of Lagor, killing 21 people and wounding 90 others.
