Algeria-SANA
The Algerian health authorities announced the registration of six cases of the Corona virus strain discovered in India and 37 new cases of the British strain.
The Algerian News Agency quoted the Pasteur Institute as saying in a statement today: “Today, six infections of the Indian strain were detected for the first time in the state of Tipasa,” indicating that this strain that was discovered is of the second subtype that contains differences compared to the hybrid mutation currently widespread in India.
The institute pointed out that the World Health Organization has classified this strain as a "controlled strain", its ranking comes after the so-called "worrying" strains, represented by the strains discovered in Britain, South Africa and Brazil.
