A deportation flight to Afghanistan planned for this Tuesday has apparently been canceled.
That came out on Monday from information from refugee initiatives and the human rights organization Pro Asyl.
The reason is therefore the dramatic deterioration in the security situation in the country.
According to the information, the decisive factor for the decision was not the danger for the refugees, but for the German police officers accompanying them.
Against this background, the Seebrücke organization and other initiatives demanded a general ban on deportations to Afghanistan.
The country was not safe, it was said to justify.
In Afghanistan, civilians are also repeatedly victims of attacks or fighting.
The beginning of the withdrawal of foreign troops is feared that the security situation will deteriorate further.
