Parnas was Giuliani's intermediary in Ukraine and helped the former mayor interact with officials and former officials abroad. Parnas and Fruman funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars in illegal donations from foreign nationals to a Trump-allied campaign supercommittee, according to the indictment. The men were also involved in a successful plan to remove the US ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch.
