The Observatory predicts that during the weekend in Guangdong, the wind will be weak and generally sunny and hot. It is expected that the temperature in the urban area will reach 31 degrees Celsius during the Labor Day holiday tomorrow. As for Ta Kwu Ling, Sheung Shui and Shek Kong, it may even reach 34 degrees. The temperature difference can reach 13 degrees, citizens should pay attention to changes in the weather.

The Observatory also predicts that high-altitude disturbances will bring unstable weather to western Guangdong early next week.

Affected by a trough of low pressure, there will be a few showers in southern China in the middle of next week; the temperature will also drop slightly below "3".

As the high-altitude anticyclone strengthens, the weather in southeastern China will improve later next week, and the city will see another 31 degrees next Saturday.

After days of cloudy and rainy weather, Hong Kong saw sunshine again today (30th).

According to the Observatory, the weather in Guangdong is generally good today with weak winds.

At noon, the temperature in general areas of Hong Kong rose to about 29 degrees.

It is forecasted that it will be fine today, hot in the afternoon, and breeze. Looking forward to a few showers later on Sunday and Monday.

Tomorrow is a Labor Day holiday. The observatory is expected to be generally fine and hot during the day.

The temperature in the urban area ranges from 23 to 31 degrees. In many districts, including Sha Tin and Sheung Shui, it is expected to reach 33 degrees or above, reaching extreme heat; while the temperature in Ta Kwu Ling ranges from 21 to 34 degrees, with a temperature difference of 13 degrees in a day.

If the prediction comes true, it will be expected to be the hottest Labor Day in the past 26 years and the third hottest Labor Day on record.

As for Sunday (May 2), it is expected to continue to be hot during the day. There will be one or two showers later; the temperature will range from 23 to 30 degrees.

With the hot weather and weak wind, citizens should avoid heat stroke if they want to engage in outdoor activities during the weekend.

Starting from next Monday (May 3) for four consecutive days, showers are expected at the Observatory and the temperature will drop slightly.

Next Wednesday (May 5) is the "Li Xia" in the 24 solar terms, which means summer is officially here.

The Observatory is expected to be generally cloudy that day with a few showers and sunshine for a short period of time during the day; the temperature ranged from 25 to 29 degrees.

The Observatory also predicted that next Friday (May 7) will see the sun again, and next Saturday (May 8) the temperature will be even higher at 31 degrees.
