Relief efforts and charitable initiatives implemented by NGOs in Al-Hasakah Governorate, which were launched at the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, continue as part of the campaign for our summit, Sawa 6, to support needy families and achieve social solidarity.

The Director of Social Affairs and Labor, Issam Al-Hussein, stated in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the majority of the licensed associations in the governorate with a relief character participated in the campaign and provided, over the past days, various aid including food ration baskets, vegetables, breakfast meals, sums of money and hygiene baskets with the aim of easing the burden on families and providing a helping hand Them during the holy month.

Al-Hussein pointed out that the aid distribution continues by the associations until the end of the holy month, while some associations will distribute children's clothes and sweets prior to Eid al-Fitr to needy families, stressing the keenness of those in charge of the Lokma Sawa 6 campaign that the campaign activity includes all parts of the governorate and work to deliver aid to the family The needy, according to priority distribution, includes women widows, orphans, people with special needs, chronic diseases, the wounded, the martyrs, and those without a breadwinner

Al-Barr and Social Services Association in Qamishli, and through the social investigation it carried out in the city of Qamishli and the surrounding neighborhoods, distributed 310 food baskets containing various supplies to the families of the displaced, orphans, widows and families most in need, in addition to the distribution of material sums and women's and children's clothing, according to the chairman of the association's board of directors. Ibrahim Al-Khalidi.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Mawaddah Association in Al-Hasakeh, Saad Silo, explained that the association, through its volunteers, distributed 817 food baskets for orphans and financial aid that included 288 families most in need according to specific criteria and 7 university students, in addition to distributing 245 breakfast meals and 112 vegetable baskets.

While the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Syria Al-Yamamah Association Saeed Al-Khader pointed out that the association distributed 1650 Ramadan food baskets, 1650 health baskets and 750 vegetable baskets to the most needy families in the city of Hasaka and its surroundings, in addition to providing 2000 breakfast meals and 2850 health baskets that included the existing families In temporary accommodation centers.
