The battle for the Grand Est is being played out in the territories.
Namely which of the outgoing president, Jean Rottner (LR), or of the minister Brigitte Klinkert, member of the presidential majority, will show the greatest number of local support.
A head-on collision, since both will lead the Alsace section of their respective lists.
