Immediately after the disaster last night (Friday) in the great revelry in Meron, the media on Mount collapsed, and those staying there were unable to call their families or send written messages.

The collapse of the telephones caused great panic among family members whose relatives came to participate in the celebration of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai and as a result, initiatives began in the ultra-Orthodox sector to locate the missing.

The ZAKA organization, whose volunteers were there, set up a HFK to locate missing persons, and the family members distributed the details and photos of their relatives on social networks and asked the public to help locate any information about their condition.

One private initiative has led to the opening of dozens of WhatsApp groups titled "Message from Meron that I'm OK" in which they helped family members get information or pass on details about their missing loved ones.
