At about 1 in the morning, the police received a report from a man, saying that after waking up, he was on the side of a mountain and his wallet and other belongings had been lost, so he made a report.
As he did not know where he was, the staff of the reporting center asked him to find some landmarks to guess his location.
In the end, the incident found a street lamp nearby, so the lamppost number was reported.
The staff of the reporting center immediately learned its location. They were on the side of a hill at Zha Shan Road in Fei Nge Shan, Wong Tai Sin, and sent police officers and notified the Fire Services Department to dispatch an ambulance to the scene.
Rescuers finally found the victim. He suffered minor injuries and was rushed to Kwun Tong United Christian Hospital by ambulance. He was conscious when he was sent to the hospital.
The police are investigating the incident, including whether the victim was stunned.
