On Tuesday 4 May, at 3.30 pm in Piazza IV Novembre in Perugia, live streaming on sanfrancesco.org, the meeting entitled 'Poor words: peace' will be held.After the greetings of the mayor Andrea Romizi, the archbishop of Perugia- Città della Pieve, card. Gualtiero Bassetti, the musician Andrea Bocelli, the journalist Aldo Cazzullo and the editor of the magazine San Francesco, Father Enzo Fortunato. Every month in dialogue in a different square in Italy to celebrate San Francesco and his passage. After Assisi, Foligno, Alviano and Ascoli Piceno the journey continues towards Perugia: the place where Francesco was taken prisoner along with many others and, chained, he was thrown with them into the squalor of the prison. But, while his companions die of sadness and curse their imprisonment, Francis rejoices in the Lord,he despises and mocks the chains. In the same place where, in the following years, the Saint exhorted the people of Perugia to be men of peace and to live according to the heart of God.
